Launching the OECA Energy Wiki – Building a Collaborative Knowledge Base
Organizing and Expanding Shared Knowledge Across Ontario’s Energy Sector

Ontario’s energy ecosystem is complex and evolving quickly, yet reliable, accessible knowledge about markets, infrastructure, technologies, and policy frameworks is often scattered across reports, filings, and institutional memory.

Why this matters now

Ontario is entering a period of rapid system transformation driven by electrification, infrastructure investment, market reforms, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Professionals across the sector are generating valuable insights every day, but there is no single place where that knowledge can be organized, maintained, and collaboratively improved.

Working Problem

How can OECA create a structured, community-driven knowledge platform that captures the collective expertise of Ontario’s energy sector and allows contributors to review, update, and expand information in a consistent and accessible way?

Session Outcome
