Committees

Executive Committee

Purpose: The Executive Committee formulates governance policies for the association. The committee identifies emerging challenges, oversees the board’s framework and functions, and supports the nomination of directors with the competencies OECA needs.

Membership Committee

Purpose: The Membership Committee develops approaches for attracting new members and expanding the OECA community, while growing services and supporting the satisfaction and continued participation of current members.

Communications Committee

Purpose: The Communications Committee shapes and upholds OECA’s reputation by developing and maintaining communication resources, including the website, member correspondence, promotional content, and Collaborator materials. The committee also explores new channels and platforms to strengthen engagement with members, collaborators, and other audiences.

Events Committee

Purpose: The Events Committee organizes social gatherings and professional events throughout the year that reflect the priorities and needs of OECA members and Ontario’s energy community.

Collaborators Committee

Purpose: The Collaborators Committee cultivates relationships with OECA Collaborators and volunteers. It also helps develop the financial and in-kind contributions that sustain and advance OECA’s operations, events, and future initiatives.
